Anybody still using SNS-HDR Pro??

Postby Bussty » Wed Sep 10, 2025 10:16 am

Just wanted to see if anybody still using this amazing software?

Is probably testament to it's quality and power that after all this time with no updates I prefer it to Photolab, Affinity, Lightroom. Most people think it's just an HDR processor but I use it for my main editing, black and whites (it does amazing black and whites) and of course HDR's.

I really love the masking that SNS-HDR uses it is so powerful and easy to use and way better than anything else I have tried.

Really sad it hasn't continued to be developed but I imagine with AI editing on the horizon developers are probably weighing up the value in developing these types of software further.

But until that day comes I will carry on using this amazing software and thankful for it.

Cheers

I've been using this amazing software from Sebastian almost from the very first release and it's still my go-to HDR software. I just checked, I wrote a blog post on June 6 2010 giving my first impressions. Fifteen years later I'm still using SNS-HDR Pro and combined with the Lightroom plugin I can send my brackets to SNS-HDR Pro, work the magic and get a file back into Lightroom for final touches

Maybe one day there will be an update, but even today the current version is still a very useable piece of software
