Photomatix is not so sharp on final images, but it is faster then SNS.
About speed, same news?

v2.* is much faster than v1.4.x

Some operations require high computing power. Photomatix loads images faster, but you must to wait for the refresh image after changing any parameter.

Maybe it is much faster than 1.4 ...but on my system WIN 7, take 2.5 minutes = 150 seconds to make a HDR from 3 tif files.
So, 30 tif files will process in 25 minutes....do you think this is a good time? Easy HDR that make almost same toning map, take less. Photomatix...less more....but have no so sharp/
You must have a SSD to work good.

SNS-HDR, easyHDR and Photomatix do not make the same toning map. They use completely different algorithms and have different adjustment parameters.

"Easy HDR for me same as SNS -HSR as Tonempfindung final."

Sorry, but EasyHDR is completely different and has big issues with Highlights!
I have both, but I use SNS 90% of the time....
And by the way: EasyHDR isn't that faster!
The only thing where I see big advantages of EasyHDR is the gosting option... ;)

Easy HDT made same final image as SNS - HDR. No much differ.
If you don't know how to shot in Highlights...it is your problem.
