Mask Opacity

When selections are made on masks using the paint bucket tool and to a greater extent using the brush, some areas become only partially opaque and need to be passed one or more times in order to make the masking completely opaque (green). In future will there be any way to control the opacity or the selection range?

Hi Murray,

You might have the Intelligent Selection option turned on - the icon that looks like a star. That's great for doing edges where you want the sky but not the ground. If you turn off Intelligent Selection, the mask is at full strength. What I've been doing is using Intelligent Selection to get the outline of what I want selected, then turn it off and fill in the interior area.
