Ref: SNS-HDR Pro 2.0.0.6 Beta with dcraw9.26.1.1

Perhaps this will be of help regarding file name changes:

1) When a Fujifilm X100T RAF file is 'Drag-Dropped onto a Desktop program icon'; then converted, merged, and Default tone-mapped it will become as indicated when executing a "File Save as":
DSCF1221.RAF --> dscf1221-HDR.tif
[change to lower case root name]

2) When a Canon EOS-350D CR2 file is 'Drag-Dropped onto a Desktop program icon'; then converted, merged, and Default tone-mapped it will become as indicated when executing a "File Save as":
IMG_1696.CR2 --> IMG_1696-HDR.tif
[no change in root name]

Capitalization does not matter in the Windows file system, but I don't change the letter case. I don't know why this is happening.

I spent some time today to learn about lua scripts and how to debug them :)

In the first place, you are right Sebastian - it's not about capitalization.

The problem is that the output filename passed back to the plugin gets truncated during further processing by the plugin code. This is the reason why no output file is found where it should be. After reading the filename from snshdr_callback the plugin trims leading and pending quotes - which do exist in SNS-HDR 1 but they don't in v2.

Here's an example (also note the difference in case :-))

.snshdr_callback (created by -ee parameter passed to SNS-HDR 1.x)
"C:\Temp\D752A673-3DDD-4BC5-8F09-55BD88F2D8D1\P3015005_HDR_1.tif"

.snshdr_callback (created by -ee parameter passed to SNS-HDR 2)
c:\temp\f556e1e5-4f79-4ffe-8a3c-6ac1555eeb88\p3015005_hdr_1.tif

Couple of things I've noticed. When opening an image or images it hangs on "Loading Images" for a longer period than the previous alphas and betas (I'm on 2.0.0.6 I think) which leads me to number 2.....the "About" button doesn't work.

Thanks. I'm on holiday. I fix it when I come back, for about 10 days.

Hi Sebastian!
Any news about that?

Phil,
The destination directory is associated with the source directory. Does the target directory has to be remembered separately?

I confirm, he source destination is NOT the destination directory, but something else...ist is the "Before" source directory

I MUST , before I save the project, to select AGAIN the destination directory....(which in fact is my source directory)

Thanks a lot
Phil

Just an FYI... A discussion has appeared on 3 photo forums describing an error in Photoshop CC 2015.5 handling of temp files, and proposing a fix. Here is one:

http://forum.luminous-landscape.com/ind ... c=111760.0

I applied this fix and SNS was then unable to save files, giving a simple error message. I reversed the fix and SNS was OK.
