Dear Sebastian,
I have just noticed a new problem working with SNS-HDR Pro 2.0 Alpha 3.
When you save any image, SNS-HDR Pro 2.0 does not respect the original resolution of the image.
- Using "Save image as..." the resolution of image will change to 72 dpi.
- Using "Open image in external editor" (in my case Lightroom 5) the resolution of image will change to 240 dpi.
I hope you will be adding this bug to your fix list!
Thank you.
Regards

Discovered another curiosity with SNS PRO Alpha3 alignment. Processed a 3 image set that were already perfectly aligned and no ghosts. Left "Align" turned on in SNS by accident. Resulting image was still re-aligned with elements "morphed" in a way that did not match any of the originals, AND the resulting image was cropped.

5760 X 3840 tif inputs generated a 5601 x 3731 image. 159 X 109 pixels cropped off.

So, I tested by generating 3 fake exposures from the same raw. Definitely aligned and no ghosts now. Fed these to SNS with alignment on. Same thing happened. Elements morphed, image cropped.

Something not right there.

I metioned that as well. I think, SNS aligns the pictures (or misaligns them) and cuts away the edges. The result is smaller image.

Hi Sebastian!

I have done about 80 HDR pictures over the WE...Pictures from my last trip..
The best results I had where those when using RAW directly!
So, Sebastian: could you implement a file import/export in .SNS-Format ASAP?
Really, it is very important because I cannot change values after ....
By the way: SNS is the best HDR software on the market! :D

Phil

Phil, that's a big ask - and slightly selfish. Software development is a long, time-consuming process and you should not try to alter the workflow to suit your personal convenience. Sebastian is the only person writing code; furthermore he is recovering from surgery. Give him some space and let him proceed at his own pace.

Hi Sebastian,
i hope your surgery was successfull and you are feeling healthy and doing well already Image

Please, can you tell us something about your progress on sns pro 2? Is there a release coming the next few weeks or a Beta or Alpha 4? I´m sure that i´m not the only one who is eager to know what is your next step. As you can think of, we need another light at the end of the tunnel of which we can hope for :)
