Color Fringe

Hey there,

I just purchased the program after seeing the results of a fellow real estate photographer. I've been using Lightroom and Photoshop for bracketed shots for years and they just aren't as clean as I would like them to be. After my purchase, I began messing around with the app to see the results and I am having huge issues with color fringe the likes I have never seen via my Adobe products. I'm used to some color fringe that is easily corrected within those apps, but it is very bad in SNS-HDR. The interior rendering looks great, but the transition of the interior to windows or entrances/exits is showing solid lines of magenta, green, etc. I attached a screenshot while in the app. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ryan

Hi rpmphoto

This color fringes are originally in your photo as the "purple/green fringe" originated by digital artifact or lens aberration. And they are emphasized by SNS-HDR's HDR image processing. So, as you said, they are easily fixed by Photoshop or Lightroom or so for the SNS-HDR's result image. See the attachment.

Hey mak_kawa,

I appreciate you trying to help, but that's not what I'm looking for. I was looking for a fix within SNS-HDR. I had already taken it into Lightroom myself and done this, but I shouldn't have to open up an entirely different program just to fix that.

You can't fix it within SNS-HDR, until Sebastian implements new fringe removal function to the SNS-HDR.

I just have shown an "user workaround". If you already do so, it's okay. There is nothing to do more, I think.
