Manual ghosting

Found a few posts talking about the ghosting and one where a manual way of adjusting ghosting was announced for v2.

Seems it never made it. How are you guys coping with this? Because that is a show stopper for me as I've seen ways to manually mask out for de-ghosting work quite well.

Don't get me wrong, it seems that the basic de-ghosting works quite well. But in my example I have a flag waving in the sky and I am able to map it out to a re-touchable version that can easily be removed in PS or AP. And In this case I certanly did not hit the noisy shadow problem mentioned in other posts.

Thanks & Cheers,
Alex

Implementing manual ghost removal is more difficult in SNS-HDR because SNS-HDR merges images based on the exposure fusion. It is complicated to copy the image area from darker to lighter exposures. Currently only copying is performed from the lighter to the darker exposures and this process can be performed by SNS-HDR automatically. I have been working on fixing this for a long time, but the results are not good.

Thanks for your reply! I will keep my fingers crossed for that you one day find the time and enthusiasm to implement this in a way that satisfies your demand for quality. At the end of the day the quality is what drove me to SNS. But for cases where the de-ghosting fails I am using other alternatives for the time being. Unless it's retouchable in the merged image.
