Lightroom SNS-HDR Plug In Question

Postby paulrumohr » Sat Jun 07, 2014 8:26 pm

I went here to get the LR plug in

https://github.com/michaelkoetter/snshdr_lightroom

I thought the file would contain a .lrplugin file, but I don't see one in the zip file I get when I click on the Download ZIP file button to the right.

I see these instructions on the webpage

Get the latest release of SNS-HDR Lite, Pro or Home and install it. (http://www.sns-hdr.com/)
Get the latest release of the plugin and unpack it (you can download a ZIP file from the github site)
Use the Lightroom plugin manager to enable it.

My Lightroom Plug Ins Manager does not recognize any of the files contained within the zip file. I thought it might recognize the .lua files, but it doesn't seem to.

Am I missing something? Do I have the wrong download file or is there another process I need to perform to get this working?

Thanks!

Alright I figured it out on my own. I placed the folder contents into the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Folder and then the LR Plug Ins Manager could read it. I had installed some other plug ins with the .lrplugin extension a little differently last month, but everything is working great now.

I am using LR 5.4 and get 'error occurred on loading the plug in'. I had to go INTO the folder and select the actual plug in folder. Although it activated, right clicking on a set of images selected and choosing 'edit in' does not show sns-hdr. How does one use the plug in?

You right click the set of images and pick "export". In the export dialog you should set your options as seen in the screenshot on the Github page: https://github.com/michaelkoetter/snshd ... enshot.jpg
