Wrong image size

I have a problem with a series of pictures. I select them in the load image dialogue, then SNS reads them all in. Once it's done reading them in an error message appears: Create image, wrong image size.
This is not very helpful as I don't know what image has the wrong size.
The input images are 4672 x 3000 pixel 16-bit TIFFs.
Any idea what's going wrong here?

One or more of the selected images must have a different size.

That's what I thought. However, I tried varying the pictures I pick, I tried downsizing all of them to the same size, I tried converting the downsized ones to 8 bit. It won't go away.
If, however, I take the DNG files, then it does work (though the output has alternating lighter and darker vertical stripes; also the white balance isn't set properly (as it takes the camera setting) and chromatic aberration compensation cannot be applied.
Strange one...

Fired it up today and picked every second picture. Now it works
Could it be that when I tried it last time there was not enough memory? This should throw an out of memory error rather than image size error, right?
Strange, but now it works, so I'm happy... Might try to get to the root of it when I find time.

I'm having this same issue and I've narrowed it down to rotation data stored in the RAW file in-camera.
I have my Canon 5DMKII set to "Auto Rotate_On Camera_On Computer" as I shoot.
Sometimes when my tripod head is set up to shoot shoot nadirs the auto-rotation gets confused and fails to rotate a photo properly.
Thus, some of my frames are 3744x5616, and some are 5616x3744 (the photo is rotated either as landscape or as portrait...)
I pull these RAWs into Adobe Bridge and use the Camera RAW Plugin (or just the tools in Bridge) to rotate them all properly.
In Bridge they appear aligned correctly (ie. all 3744x5616).
When I drag these images into SNS-HDR Pro 1.4.16, the software fails to recognize that all the images are indeed 3744x5616,
So it gives me the "Wrong image size" window and exits the process.
Once the images are shot, you can't change the EXIF data in-camera regarding rotation, you can only change them in a RAW converter/reader.
If you can't change them in-camera and SNS-HDR Pro does not recognizes the changes you've made to the RAW files in a RAW reader, then the
only way to remedy this issue is to convert all the RAWs to TIFs or JPGs (thereby "baking" in the rotation data).
This of course can take a tremendous amount of space (19gb for a 15EV 360x180 16bit TIFs) and is an otherwise unneeded step in a workflow.
Is there a way to address this issue?

Brandon, I will check it.

Brandon, it seems to be different to the problem I had. In my case it wasn't working with sets of TIF's (and neither with 8bit nor with 16bit ones). I've used SNS-HDR quite a lot the past months and never again encountered that problem. The TIF's in question were taken with a different camera, though...
Good luck in clearing that up, with Sebastian on the case it should work out in the end.

Hmmm. Very strange.
Thanks for the reply, though.
In my particular case, the only way I can get SNS to read the images properly is to convert them out of CR2 and into any other format.
I'm not exactly sure what the Canon 5dMKII in-camera "Auto Rotate" option does to the RAW file, but whatever it does,
it carries over into Bridge/Photoshop/Camera Raw/Lightroom/etc.
When you rotate 90 in Bridge or Camera Raw it either creates and edits a sidecar xmp or embeds the data into the RAW.
At first I thought it might have been because SNS wasn't reading the RAW sidecar .xmp files.
So I edited the RAW prefs to embed data into the RAW database.
That didn't work either.
I'll do some more experimentation when I have some time.

Here are two representative images. (attached)
They are both the same size (3744x5616).
When pulled into SNS, these give the "Wrong size error".

Hi BrandonRiza,
i upload this Pictures into SNS-HDR Pro v1.4.19 and there are the Result.
Do you get really this Error Message, or SNS show you "Wrong image size"?
Have you install all System requirements ex. Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 and NET Framework 3.0 SP1
