Weirdness with batch processing

Hi,
I'm having an issue with batch processing. My first image comes out numbered 100 and it looks terrible. The second image comes out numbered 1002. It seems to be processing my images in a random order... is this possible. Furthermore a few images came out looking WAY off, including the first one. I'm processing a total of 5472 RAW images. I have a powerful computer. I have renamed all my files so they are in the proper order in a separate folder. I have looked and I don't have any files missing either. (which could have explained the images that are WAY off...) Any thoughts on this?
Thanks,
JP

Files are sorted based on the text, not numbers: 1, 10, 11, ..., 2, 20.
If you want to sort the files based on the numbers, files must have a fixed length of name: 001, 002, ..., 010, 011.

Hey Sabastian,

Thanks for you're great product. I'm having the same problem with my time lapses. They are created fake tough. Im using lightroom to create the two other exposures. Sow picture 1 gets virtually copied 2 times. One with +2, one with -2. Then i call them 001, 002, 003. The time lapse is over 2000 pictures. How about calling them? Do they need to be 0002000 or just 2000.

Greets Jeroen

The numbers in the file names must have the same number of digits.
