There seems to be no way to delete or close the last image produced to make way for the next job. I have to close the program and re- open each time.

Just Open an new image or image set... ...if you have not saved the existing workspace image, you will be asked: Yes, No, Cancel...

A Yes will take you through a 'save' sequence...
A No will allow a new image or image set to be selected and loaded to the workspace...
A Cancel wil allow the existing workspace image to remain for further editing...

Once this dialog is answered... ...a new image or image set can be opened in place of the existing workspace image.
