You must to multiply the size (Mpix) by 60 and get the required amount of memory in megabytes.

so SNS requires the size of the picture in megapixels x 60 for one file?

If i have a picture of 4000x2660pixel i will need 624MB of memory...multiplied by the amount of pictures...right?

That much? :o

How many memory needs the program?

Without multiplying by the amount of images.

As I wrote, it can be calculated.

I had posted this as a separate question elsewhere, but it makes more sense here. Can virtual memory be used to supplement RAM? I know this would dramatically slow the process down by swapping out to disk, but if SNS HDR could use an SSD drive rather than spinning disks, wouldn't that bring the speed back up again? It would also allow significantly larger files to be processed for those of us with motherboards maxed out at 12GB of RAM.

Thanks for the GREAT software!

Mark

Currently SNS-HDR can not use a lot of virtual memory. I'll try to change this in version 2.0.

I would be willing to pay for such an upgrade (1.x to 2.x) as it would dramatically extend what size images I can work with. Now I feel like a kid who can't wait for Christmas, but it's only March...

Hi Sebastian,

Any news on updates? Christmas is coming soon, and I really want version 2.x under the tree! :D
