Could you provide some selection guidelines?

Is this equivalent to "dcraw.exe -n <num>" [Set threshold for wavelet denoising]?

When using "dcraw" for my Canon EOS-350D raw CR2 conversions, I have found the options "-n 35" and "-m 2" [Apply a 3x3 median filter to R-G and B-G] seem to provide preference generic luma and chroma noise reductions...

Yes, SNS-HDR defines the value of parameter "n" for dcraw.

4 => -n 230
5 => -n 310
6 => -n 400
