Postby bisse » Wed Sep 09, 2015 3:41 pm

file cdr2 underexposed -0,67, white balance auto, developped by sns-hdr pro >partly purple sky. and the tiff file is passed to photoshop with 72 ppi , adobe rgb, 16 bit
how to avoid the purple sky?
is 72 ppi the best quality sns-hdr can put out? how to change the quality?
how to use the masks as for purple sky? videos available?

What camera? Looks like you may need to update dcraw if this is a recently released camera.

The PPI only determines the output size if you are going to print the photo. If that's the case you can change the PPI in Photoshop under Image>Image Size>Resolution. But since this is a TIFF it is uncompressed and is at maximum quality regardless of the PPI.

You may want to try updating dcraw. Sebastian's latest compile is version 9.26.1.1 and can be downloaded here: http://www.sns-hdr.com/files/dcraw.exe

dcraw.exe downloaded and copied into sns-hdr pro (old-one renamed in dcraw-alt.exe) doesn't change anything: still partly purple sky. any more ideas?....
edit:
purple disappears totally if I pre-devellop the raw to 6 different tiff-s (by adobe camera raw 6.7) and only then pass these to sns-hdr-pro
