I am new to HDR. Is it best to work from Raw files? Is it even possible to work from JPEG files?

Hi linzamin,

Yes, I only use RAW so you have the best opportunities have an incorrect white balance or exposure correction.

And for HDR it is perfect to have into the Source Picture higher dynamic (with jpg it is also possible, but not the same)

I'm extremely new to this, just trying my first few shots today really.
Tried loading RAW files from a Canon 5D MK3 and I keep getting an error.
Converted into JPEG and it accepts them no problem.
Any advice please.
Thanks

Hi sirbenfro,

They can describe the Fault, they you receive?
SNS-HDR use the drRAW Decover, and your Camera RAW Format are supported.

could you try this Tonemapping with a single RAW?
And if you can upload the Source Images, than i can try to process this Images.

How much RAM do you have?

Hi, excuse the delay, I've been away.
I'm on a different computer at the moment, so not sure how much RAM is available.
Is that likely to be a problem? It handles Photoshop without any problem.
Thanks

A small amount of RAM can cause this error.
