Hello from Portland, OR US

Postby JeffColia » Tue Apr 17, 2012 2:47 am

Hello fellas, just joined the forum to learn as much as I can about SNS-HDR. I have tried the demo for a few days and decided that it was superior to photomatix, so I just purchased the pro version. I purchased with paypal, should I expect a delay to get my keys? No big deal, just excited to spit out some files without the watermark :D

I will be using the software for HDR timelapse photography.

Anyone else here from Oregon?

Cheers,
Jeff

Welcome my friend!

I just want to say that PHOTOMATIX and SNS are completely different!...I like to use photomatix for artistic HDR's, and SNS for the realistic ones...
I wouldn't say that photomatix is superior, it just depends of which kind of mapping you want to have!! :D

I find that SNS is perfect for real estate work, but has also worked well for a lot of more artistic work. I generally follow SNS with Photoshop/Topaz Clarity to boost local contrast. That said, I just updated Photomatix and plan to explore it again. I started with Photomatix, migrated to HDR Efex Pro, and now to SNS.
